What is Aerosol Control Technologies?

Aerosol Control Technologies, LLC (ACT) is commercializing technology that significantly reduces particulates and other exhaust emissions from diesel engines. Founders Michael Gidding and Daniel Garcia, recipients of the Peabody Energy Arch Grant, are licensing the invention developed at Washington University.

Michael earned his degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Washington in St. Louis in 2013, and holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. Michael also currently works in Corporate Development and Strategy at Midori, Inc. and previously served as Co-Founder and President of Saturnis.

Daniel Garcia


Daniel earned his degree in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in 2012, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Northwestern University. Before joining Aerosol Control Technologies, Daniel served as a Co-Founder with Saturnis.
