What is Fletch?
An app that helps colleges increase utilization of tutoring, advising and financial aid. Also, it empowers students to request help from their college or crowdsource it from their peers.
Marquett Burton is the CEO of Fletch, a 2016 Arch Grants Recipient.
Marc earned his degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a Masters in Education from Johns Hopkins University. Before starting Fletch, Marc worked with the Baltimore City Mayor’s Office as a Mayoral Fellow, as a teacher through Teach For America, and as the Pacific Northwest Manager for Everfi, an education technology company. He has won multiple awards and competitions for Fletch, including the 2014 Startup Weekend LA 1st place award, the 2015 International Purdue University Business Competition, the 2015 People Space 1st place award, the 2015 Digital LA Startup Showcase Champion award, the 2015 Startup Grind 1st place award, the 2016 1776 Challenge Cup Chicago 1st place award, the 2016 1776 Challenge Cup Regional 1st place award, and was a member of the 2015 Impact Engine Cohort.
