What is Talariant?
Talariant is a bio-tech company that spun out of the BioDesign and Innovation Program at the University of Missouri – Columbia. Talariant is targeting pharmaceutical aerosol applications and its first product is a novel delivery mechanism to enhance efficiency in ophthalmic surgery.
Kyle Rood is the President of Talariant, a 2014 Arch Grants recipient.
Kyle earned his degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from University of Missouri-Columbia in 2011, and holds a Masters Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Kyle is a bioengineer with a talent for finding medical solutions and developing devices that can improve healthcare, and brings previous work experience for the University of Missouri to his position as President of Talariant.
Clint Matthews is the Chief Executive Officer of Talariant, a 2014 Arch Grants recipient.
Clint earned his degree in Atmospheric Science from University of Missouri-Columbia in 2005, and holds a MBA from University of Missouri-Columbia, College of Business. Clint is a natural entrepreneur and business developer with a background in the hard sciences and medical field. He currently serves as a Co-Founder at Cardioptimus, and brings previous experience with AmiraLin LLC to his work as CEO of Talariant.
