Role Overview:

The Community Manager at Arch Grants plays a pivotal role in overseeing daily space operations, leading high-impact events, and serving as a collaborative partner to internal teams and the Arch Grants Founder community. This individual will manage the day-to-day operations of our physical space, execute high-impact events, and serve as a key partner to both internal teams and our community of entrepreneurs. As a cross-functional operator, this role blends hospitality, logistics, relationship management, and program support to ensure an exceptional experience for all who engage with Arch Grants.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Space & Facilities Management

  • Serve as the point of contact for all space-related needs, ensuring the environment is professional, welcoming, and collaborative.
  • Coordinate meeting and event space bookings with Founders, staff, and partners.
  • Manage vendor relationships (cleaning, A/V, catering, etc.).
  • Oversee implementation and upkeep of technology infrastructure in the space (e.g., A/V systems, digital signage, booking platforms).
  • Maintain systems for signage, setup, access, and daily functionality.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Lead execution of internal and external events (workshops, meetings, etc.)
  • Partner with team leads to align event goals across Programs, Portfolio, and Development.
  • Support promotional efforts for events in collaboration with Communications.

Founder & Portfolio Support

  • Coordinate Founder onboarding and provide logistical support for programming, including mentor sessions, office hours, trainings, and ad hoc Founder support meetings.
  • Serve as a liaison between Founders and internal teams, ensuring a smooth, well-supported experience.
  • Support portfolio data collection and management, ensuring accurate and current impact metrics.
  • Help foster a vibrant, inclusive Founder community by building relationships and identifying opportunities for connection and collaboration.

Organizational & Strategic Support

  • Support planning and coordination of Board and committee meetings.
  • Assist the Director of Portfolio & Programs in executing cross-functional projects and timelines
  • Help manage logistics for major events (Startup Competition, neXus Gala, Finalist Pitch Day)

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in event management, community operations, or program coordination 
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills 
  • Passion for entrepreneurship, startups, and economic development 
  • Self-motivated, growth-minded, and quick to take initiative 
  • Team-oriented with a positive, energetic presence 
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the St. Louis, MO metro area
