Bank of America backs Arch Grants with $1M grant focused on funding minority-led startups

The totality of the four-year, $1 million commitment will be used to provide funding for Black and Latino-led startups.

“The Sustained Impact Campaign delivers on the founding vision of Arch Grants; it ensures that we can continue to build a pipeline of promising high growth St. Louis companies and continue to increase the scale at which we attract and retain them,” said Jerry Schlichter, Arch Grants Board Chairman.

Arch Grants provides first awards through new Growth Grants startup funding program

While the Growth Grants are nondilutive, Arch Grants said its funding needs to be matched at least 2 to 1 by outside funding sources. The nonprofit said Provider Pool and GiftAMeal will both use their Growth Grants as part of seed funding rounds each company is currently raising.
