What is ChiChi?
ChiChi Foods is a breakfast company on a mission to make mornings better with chickpeas. We create high-protein hot cereal that’s creamy, comforting, and made from all simple ingredients.
Founded in St. Louis, ChiChi began with a problem: most breakfast options are either packed with sugar, artificial protein powder, or leave you hungry an hour later. By turning chickpeas into hot cereal, we deliver real protein, steady energy, and the comfort of a warm breakfast made with only simple, wholesome ingredients.

Co-Founder
Chiara Munzi is the co-founder of ChiChi Foods. She graduated from WashU in 2023 and worked at Bain as a consultant before returning to ChiChi full-time. She focuses on operations and finance as they grow the company’s mission to make mornings better with simple, protein-rich food.

Izzy Gorton
Co-Founder
Izzy Gorton is the co-founder of ChiChi Foods. A 2025 WashU graduate and collegiate runner, she launched ChiChi with Chiara during college to create a healthier, more filling breakfast. Izzy now leads marketing and brand strategy, bringing her passion for health and storytelling into building the brand.
