SmashToast develops consumer-facing hardware and software that provide efficiency to everyday processes. The company’s main product, PUCK, is a Bluetooth-enabled device that allows the user to control appliances with a smartphone.

Barnabas earned his degree in Fine Arts from Illinois State University in 2007. Barnabas currently works as the Founder at Barnabas Helmy Design and brings previous work experience with Horace Mann to his work with SmashToast. Barnabas is also an artist and his art was shown at the Grand Palais in Paris, France during Art Paris 2011.
