Sarah earned her degree in Architectural Studies from University of Missouri-Columbia in 2008, and holds a Masters of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. Before joining Artifox, Sarah worked in marketing and communications at DMD Brands and as an architect with Cannon Design.

What is Made for Freedom?

Made for Freedom sells clothing and accessories made at centers around the world by survivors of sex slavery and human trafficking. By offering dignified employment for these women and men, the cycle of vulnerability, and extreme poverty is broken for generations.

Dawn Manske came face to face with the effects of human trafficking while living in China. After seeing the breadth of this atrocity, being introduced to the concept of social enterprise, and numerous compliments on her favorite pants from Thailand, Made for Freedom was born.
