Healthy Hip Hop utilizes technology and the hip hop culture to help improve student learning environments and academic outcomes. Our dual sided technology, with SaaS platform and mobile application empowers users to live stream, publish and share interactive content.

Roy Scott is the Founder and CEO of Healthy Hip Hop, an EdTech platform powered by the arts and social interaction. Considered by many as the “Sesame Street of the 21st Century “. With over fifteen years of experience in the music industry, a passion for technology and helping the youth, Scott turned what he loved into a business. Healthy Hip Hop has quickly gained traction through their live engagement and online content, contracting with such companies as Blue Cross Blue Shield, SHAPE America, The LeBron James Family Foundation and many more. Currently, Scott serves as writer and executive producer of H3 technology and content.

Wes Smith

Chief Creative Officer

Wes Smith is co-founder of Healthy Hip Hop, which is considered by many as the “Sesame Street of the 21st Century”. Smith is a seasoned music publisher, with over ten years experience in writing, producing and artist development. In 2018, Smith created the animated character, PJ Panda, who has become the mascot for the Healthy Hip Hop brand.

What is ViTAL?

ViTAL’s software allows teachers to create digital learning content that is accessible to students who are blind and visually impaired. Teachers add multisensory feedback to adopted curriculum and materials, enabling students to explore and consume the content via touch (vibrations), sound and sight on tablets.

What is OfCourse Scheduling?

OfCourse Scheduling is the developer of software that creates course schedules for schools. The technology allows administrators to create schedules in a fraction of the time compared to traditional processes.

Henry Biggs

Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel

Henry served as a Professor, Chair and Dean at Houghton College and Washington University in St. Louis. During that time he worked extensively coordinating student and faculty schedules. Henry earned his B.A. in Latin from Harvard and his PhD in Romance Linguistics from UCLA, serving on alumni boards for both schools. Henry also earned an MBA and LLM from Washington University, a JD from Saint Louis University and an LLM from the University of Paris – Dauphine.

Troy is a web design and development professional with over 20 years of experience. Troy has an accomplished background as the founding Technology Director of an empirical research center at Washington University in St. Louis, where he spent ten years developing that department and also where the ofCourse scheduler was born. While there he taught courses in design and technology.

Matthew Feldt

Matthew is an experienced computer programmer, systems engineer and executive with over 25 years experience. Matthew was a Fortune 100 executive and is the original founder of the St. Louis Unix Users Group–Linux SIG. He has extensive experience as a software developer for US Bank, Blue Cross Blue Shield, AT&T and Overstock.
