What is Reflect & Restore?
Reflect & Restore, the operating system for school culture: AI-guided reflections that let students say what they are carrying, real tools for teachers to repair harm, and a co-pilot for every adult from counselor to superintendent. In an early pilot at KIPP Texas, schools saw 40 percent fewer suspensions, because the adults doing the hardest work were finally backed up.

Gerald W. Raines Jr. built Reflect and Restore from every side of the problem: former Police Officer, Juvenile Justice Specialist, Dean of Students, and Director of Culture & Safety across Noble Schools in Chicago and KIPP Texas in Houston. He holds master’s degrees in juvenile justice and school discipline reform, authored The Warm Demander and The Culture Shift, used by educators throughout the country, and is head engineer of both the Reflect and Restore and Warm Demander Approach platforms.
