Curate Therapeutics is a St. Louis drug delivery company that loads proven chemotherapy into platelets, which naturally home in on tumors to deliver the drug. Its Trojan Horse Platform™ pairs known drugs with existing clinical workflows and is designed to cut years off the path from lab to patient, starting with pancreatic cancer.

CEO
Christopher J. Bethel is the full-time founder and CEO of Curate Therapeutics. This is his second Arch Grants company; he cofounded Pro-Arc Diagnostics, a 2016 winner. He has 20+ years in biotech product development at Pfizer, MilliporeSigma, and Merck KGaA’s Innovation Center, six years researching platelet-tumor biology, and published on platelets as drug carriers (Springer, 2025). A former BioGenerator EIR, he mentors at Sling Health and Skandalaris and has hired four BioSTL interns.
