The removal of these costly, years-long rate-limiting steps enables high-throughput trait development and deployment directly in elite commercial varieties, enabling customers in their race to file IP on novel seed genetics and opening new verticals for gene-edited plant varieties.

Pei is a serial entrepreneur with experience scaling a multinational consulting firm and co-founding an Alzheimer’s research academy. A Duke University alumnus, he has worked in agricultural policy think tanks and molecular labs. At NHA, he drives commercialization strategy and leads management and recruitment of collaborators, advisors, and talent to support strategic growth.
