Michael Cox is the President and Founder of Horizontal Base Studs LLC formed in St. Louis, Missouri as an innovative company created to stop flood-damaged walls. As a lifelong carpenter and cabinetmaker, he saw first-hand the need for a solution to the age-old question of how to keep drywall dry…and he solved it! With a United States Patent issued in 2023 for his unique horizontal base stud system, drywall can now easily be installed up off of the ground keeping it dry.
